SONIC & SEGA ALL-STARS RACING · COMMUNITY FAN PROJECT
USER AGREEMENT
These terms explain the rules for using this community leaderboard, player profiles, Discord sign-in, submissions and related features. Please read them before creating or accessing a signed-in profile.
1. Using the site
You may use the site to browse community records, submit runs and evidence, maintain a player profile, take part in site challenges, and send feedback. Use the site lawfully and follow the rules below. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for keeping your Discord account secure.
2. Discord sign-in and profiles
Discord sign-in is used to verify your account for profile and feedback features. The site requests Discord’s identify permission only. It does not request your Discord password, email address, messages or server memberships. Discord’s own terms and privacy information also apply when you use Discord.
Signing in does not give you access to WordPress administration or permission to edit leaderboard records. A request to link an existing player name to your profile is reviewed by an administrator. Your friend list is private to your account. Any control scheme, portrait, profile details or totals shown on a player licence are limited to information the site marks as approved or publicly visible.
3. Runs, proof and fair play
- Submit runs that you achieved and give accurate player, time, course, category, platform and date details where requested.
- Follow the category rules shown on the leaderboard. Do not falsify evidence, impersonate another player, alter proof to misrepresent a run, or knowingly submit a record that violates those rules.
- Only submit videos, images, links and other material that you are allowed to share. Do not include another person’s private or identifying information without permission.
- Submissions may be checked before publication. The site may ask for clearer evidence or additional details. A submission is not an approved record until the site marks it as approved.
Leaderboard data and review decisions can be corrected when new evidence or a data error is found. The site does not promise that every submission will be accepted or that every historical record has complete proof.
4. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the content you create. By submitting a run, profile detail, image, video, link or feedback, you allow the site operator to store, review and use that material as needed to operate, verify and maintain this community site. For approved leaderboard entries, this includes displaying the record details and any proof link or material that the site identifies as public. Proof uploaded for private administrator review is not displayed publicly through that review system.
You can ask the site administrator to remove a submission or account-related data through the site’s feedback feature. Removal may take time to review and complete, and copies in site or host backups may remain until those backups expire under the host’s retention process.
5. Community behaviour and moderation
Do not use the site to harass, threaten, discriminate against, spam or impersonate people; publish unlawful or harmful material; expose private information; interfere with site security; manipulate records or rewards; or disrupt other users’ access. The administrator may review reports and may reject or remove content, correct a record, or limit access where reasonably needed to protect users, the accuracy of the boards or the site. You may contact the administrator through site feedback if you believe a decision is mistaken.
6. SEGA Miles and future features
SEGA Miles are planned site points, not money, cryptocurrency or an official SEGA currency. The SEGA Miles shop and rewards are still in progress; no shop rewards are currently available. A points total does not guarantee that a particular reward will be offered. If earning or redeeming features launch, their specific rules will be shown before use. The site may correct points awarded in error or remove points linked to invalid submissions or abuse.
Features marked “work in progress” or “coming soon,” including ghost replays and character-specific profiles or leaderboards, are not currently available for use.
7. Information and privacy
For signed-in sessions, the site stores your Discord account ID and handle for up to 30 days or until you sign out. The site uses a private account key for saved profile progress, stars, challenge proof and ownership requests. Friend lists are private. Challenge proof uploads are stored privately for administrator review; verified challenge results may appear in public rankings. Feedback is private to the administrator. Ownership requests and bounty claims are held privately for review. Approved profile and leaderboard information may appear on the site as described above.
You can export saved profile progress where that option is available, sign out to end the current browser session, or ask for removal through site feedback. Site or hosting backups may retain copies until they expire under the host’s retention process. Do not use site feedback to send passwords or other sensitive information.
This summary describes the site’s current features and data handling; it does not replace any privacy information provided by Discord or your rights under applicable data-protection law.
8. Availability and third-party services
The site is a community project and may be updated, changed, paused or unavailable from time to time. Discord, WordPress hosting and external links are provided by third parties and are governed by their own terms. The site does not control third-party services or promise that they will always be available.
9. Changes and legal rights
The agreement version and effective date appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be shown here, and signed-in users will be asked to accept the new version before using account features. Nothing in this agreement removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any term must be read consistently with applicable consumer and data-protection law.
